Transportation
No hotel pickup is offered for this excursion. You can easily park your rental car in the Mambo Beach Boulevard lot (free) or across from LionsDive Beach Resort (paid parking).
What to expect
After checking in, you will be assigned to a group of up to 10 people with professional guides. You will get an explanation of the excursion you are going to do and you will get a snorkel and goggles on loan.
Once underwater you will see all kinds of different fish passing by, or even swimming right past you. You may be given food to feed the sharks. May occasionally the fish pick up something from your hand, but that is not part of the program. You feed the sharks, such as lemon sharks and nurse sharks, through a specially made window made of strong Plexiglas. In addition, you get explanations from the guides about the fish, making it not only exciting, but you also learn something!
If you wish, you can have photos or videos taken of your Animal Encounter (at an additional cost).
Conditions for participation
- Participation is for persons 8 years and older. Children 8-12 years old must be accompanied by a (full paying) adult, max. 1 child per adult.
- Participants can swim well and feel comfortable snorkeling in water that is too deep to stand in. Staying in the water for half an hour should not be a problem.
- Each participant must complete a waiver in advance.

- For an additional charge: photos and video of your Animal Encounter.
